A Salvage in Thomasville, Ch. 1

Found her collecting dust at the Salvation Army just passing time in the basement next to some punk particle-board dead-ender from the entertainment center.  There she was, the classic 1940s mahogany dame...



Thirty righteous bucks to the stiff at the counter and we were on our way to my place uptown.  Sure she was missing a front tooth and had some scratches, a little wobbly on her feet, 'd lost a ring or two, who hasn't in this town.  Yeah she'd lived a little.  But look at that bone structure, will ya, those curves.  And this one had the heart of a fighter, ladies and joims.

With some elbow grease and a little sandpaper sweet-talk, she cleaned up pretty nice...
